Foundation Practice, is an interdisciplinary style of yoga with a focus on foundation, alignment and body awareness.  This practice incorporates standing, balancing and seated postures moving with breath and is suited for the beginner and advanced student

Kundalini

ALL LEVELS

Kundalini Yoga consists of simple yogic techniques that can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter your age or physical ability. It is a complete yoga practice that includes breathing exercises (pranayama), yoga postures (asanas), chanting (mantra), meditation, and relaxation. It is designed to provide you with the experience of your highest consciousness through the raising of your kundalini.

At its essence, the techniques in Kundalini Yoga help you to connect more deeply with yourself, and become more fully present and aware in each moment

Yin

BEGINNER LEVEL – SUITABLE FOR ALL STUDENTS

Yin, is the quiet practice, where the focus is on cultivating patience, kindness and surrender.  This practice targets the connective tissue in the body allowing for deeper opening and stretching.   Yin is a wonderful compliment to the more energetic styles of Yoga.  It is suitable for all students

Awareness

ALL LEVELS

Alignment can only get you so far, awareness gets you everywhere else. This class is designed to inspire curiosity with an engaged perception to our external and internal world with dynamic physiological and mental awareness.

Time: 75 minutes
Movement: slow, mindful, dynamic
Intensity: gauged by the practitioner (you can make this as intense/subtle as you want by your engagement with the practice).

Somatic Intelligence

ALL LEVELS

Awareness from the centre of the nervous system to the periphery and from the periphery to the centre combined with internal awareness of respiration (breath entering and exiting the body) initiates the first phases of the transformation process. By creating awareness in the body, the transport of oxygen and nutrients via the circulatory system and electrical impulses via the nervous system are able to penetrate every layer deeply, thus enabling proper communication between the cells that make up the tissues of the body. The integration and subsequent transformation that occurs here is dependent on the quality of attention (dynamic extension & awareness) applied by the student during practice

Twenty-Six Two Hot

BEGINNER TO ADVANCED

Bikram inspired 60 and 90 minutes.

The Twenty-Six Two Bikram practice exercises every part of your body systematically and moves fresh oxygenated blood through the body, bones to skin. This hot Asana series is specifically designed to warm and stretch muscles, ligaments and tendons whole building flexibility and strength.

A fast-paced dynamic connection of movement with breath.  Detox, stretch, strengthen, DE-stress and improve your metabolism and flexibility all in one class, feel rejuvenated and empowered.  Follows a vigorous sequence to inspire physical, energetic, mental, and inner freedom or higher states of consciousness.  This class will push you to your limits but leave you feeling accomplished.  Arrive well hydrated.

Hot Vinyasa Flow

BEGINNER TO ADVANCED

A continuous flow of movement linked with breath, incorporating core, balance, strength and flexibility. The hot room allows your muscles to ease through their full range of motion within your own individual, physical limits.  Focus is on balance, power, fluidity, flexibility and alignment while continuing to emphasize the fundamentals of yoga.  Whether you are looking to improve your metabolism and circulation, or strengthen your cardiovascular system, this is the class for you!  Melt away years of stress and cleanse your body of toxins as you stretch and strengthen. Arrive well hydrated.

 

Senior Yoga

BEGINNER AND AGE RELATED

A gentle yoga for any age group, body type and activity level. This yoga is beneficial joint pain and swelling, balance concerns and mobility issues. We have stylized this restorative practice for encouraging blood flow tot eh body as well as the positive haling powers of group activity.
